DOCTRINAL STATEMENT We believe that the Scriptures are Divinely inspired. The Holy Spirit miraculously guided the original writers in all parts of the Scriptures equally. Furthermore, the Holy Spirit guided even in the choice of words, so that the result is the very Word of God; and therefore our only infallible rule of faith and practice. It is our firm conviction that God has used His singular care and providence through the ages in the preservation of the written Word. The Scriptures as we now have them in the King James Version are in every sense particular as originally given, and contain the essentials necessary for salvation. We believe in one God manifested in three distinct but equal Persons, namely the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person and is distinct from the Father and the Son. We believe that as through one man (Adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, so death passed upon all men for that all have sinned. We believe in the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ on the cross, and that His death was sufficient to pay the quilt of all men. We believe that men are saved by grace and JUSTIFIED BY FAITH ALONE, and are accounted righteous before God only for the merit of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that all the saved will have everlasting life and blessed consciousness, and all the lost will have everlasting punishment and conscious suffering. We believe in the personal premillennial return of our Lord; first for His church followed seven years later with His church. We believe that the greatest responsibility of the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ is to make the Gospel known to all the world. The local church is His agency of evangelism, baptism, the Lord's supper and fellowship. MISSION STATEMENT I. The primary mission of Calvary Ministries to Catholics is to proclaim the glorious Gospel of God's saving grace to the world and especially Roman Catholics. This will be accomplished by preaching God's Word and by the distribution of Gospel tracts and other literature. II. Calvary Ministries to Catholics seeks to expose the doctrinal errors of Roman Catholicism. We believe that Roman Catholicism is a false religious system. These doctrinal errors are best exposed by revealing the truths of the Holy Scriptures and comparing them directly with the teachings of Roman Catholicism. III. Calvary Ministries to Catholics has a ministry of helping God's people to be effective witnesses to the lost and especially Roman Catholics. This can best be accomplished by holding training sessions in local churches. We believe that for Christians to be able to successfully evangelize Roman Catholics, they must first understand the basic doctrines and teachings of the Catholic Church. We have tracts and other literature available to aid local churches in effectively evangelizing Catholics. IV. Calvary Ministries to Catholics has a ministry of printing Gospel tracts and other types of literature. Gospel tracts are currently available in several languages for use by missionaries and other Christian workers. We also have a quarterly newsletter Calvary for Catholics that is sent out free of charge.
